Wow! I have really been "SLACK" updating my own web site and believe you me I've been told about it by
everyone. There is plenty to tell too.
... So here goes:
New Members added: I am blessed to no end it seems as we now have Connie Wallace and Heather Benton singing
backing vocals now. Words cannot descibe the vocal talent of these to awesome people.
So one would imagine we would be going back to the studio. Right? Most definately, and we have some really good material
coming forth, so stay tunned and don't change that dial.
New Guitarist: Paul Miller has also been added to the line up. Paul is a seasoned session player and we have known
him forever it seems. It was certaintly an easy fit and Paul has been a blessing to Pray For Reign.
Web hosting: We are now on the Go Daddy Servers (no doubt you can tell by the banner). I will be moving us
to the banner-less hosting as soon as we have the $$$ but for now this will do. We are Offically pray4reign.com!!!
New Years Eve: Pray For Reign's Prision Ministry Outreach sponsored by Barnabas Ministries performed for
the Gwinnett Co. Work Release Center New Years Eve for about 100 inmates and we broke in the new line up.
It was awesome and Pray For Reign was well recieved. The new song "Run to the River" was met with a standing ovation.
Not because of us but because of the power of the Holy Spirit delivered via the music. If Run to the River is
the last song we ever do, well then ... mission accomplished!
January Live Show:
Pray For Reigh will be at the Johshua Cup in Macon on January 27th 9:00 pm - until.
In the mean time you can get a map Click Here
...and for a review and some pictures. Click Here
Note: they have WiFi access so bring your laptop and
someone do a web broad cast !!
Well that's it for now.
In his Grip,
Eddie

Our prison outreach ministry had another great afternoon and evening, at the Gwinnett County
Correctional Facility in Lawrenceville this past Sunday the 29 of May. We played for two groups of inmates,
the work release program of which there were 50 men and 2 women. Two inmates came to know Jesus as
there Lord and Savor, and 72 men were in the later church group. We got to here the men's group sing and
were blessed by that. Going to this venue is always a blessing for us as we really get
to see the Lord work on men and women that are truly lost in the world. Eddie and Jeff
were great as usual, and it was a real blast. Pastor Donnis is a real man of God and we
love being his support team there.
Also Pray For Reign will be playing a concert at the Men's Retreat at
Calvary Chapel Hearthland Aug. 30th through Sept. 1st.
Pastor Steve's Church is awesome and I would recommend this retreat to any man that just need a
lift in this hard world.
There is a great chance for Pray For Reign to spread the word in Russia this year. We are
teaming up with a band By The Light and working on a trip to Moscow to play at a Christian
camp there. We have hopes of planting lots of seeds for Christ there. Please keep this in
your prayers as the lead Pastor Pete has just been through heart bypass surgery and we need
him to recover fully in order to make this trip happen.

Second Album Takes Shape
With Only weeks away on the release of the first self titled CD
by Pray For Reign, I stopped by the band's rehearsal space at Big Weirdo Fish Studio.
Apparently the band is well into the formulation of a second CD tentatively entitled "Run To
The River". I was lucky enough to be present as the band was working on the title cut.
To me it sounds awesome as the band really starts to hone in on its own distinctive sound.
Make no mistake Pray For Reign has its own sound and is not your run of the mill group.
Watching them work through the exchange of ideas to see what did and did not work was
an interesting moment. So far the band tells me they have five brand new songs and are
going to remake two standard worship songs, which they do in a style that can be called
true Pray For Reign style. Run To The River is shaping up to be a great album!

Pray For Reign's web site is now up!
Pray For Reign's self titled CD is almost ready for release.
Mike Sirmans aka "The Mad Sceintist" and the engineer down at Cat Box Studio
has infromed me that we are down to the last two final mixes for the CD. Kudos to Mike for all the man hours he is putting in as we push towards our frist
release.
So far I've got to hear about half of the cuts via MP3 links Mike has supplied me.
Its a pretty exciting time as we approach the finished product.
On the other news front we, Pray For Reign, will be ramping up for our prison ministry Pary For Reign has two tenative gigs coming up in Feburary and
March at the Gwinnett County Corrections Work Release Center and also at the state facility up in Jeffersion County, Georgia.
Pray For Reign was also the core band for the Calvary Chapel Pastors Conference held January 19th through the 21st.
We were blessed to be lead by Josh Blevens the new worshop leader for the
Calvary Chapel Stone Mountain, Georgia church.
Kevin Fitzgerald, former worship leader of Calvary Chapel Stone Mountain and now Pastor of
Calvery Chapel Dublin, Ireland got a nice write up on the Calvary Chapel Denmark web site. My Danish is
very poor but the English translation is fine. You can read it here.
His vision and his walk have grown by leaps and bounds.
Also Randy McCraken also originally from Calvary Chapel Stone Mountain, now in York, England, is doing fine. He
just return to York after a visit back here in the states for the Pastors Conference that was held in January. Also
check out Randy's website here. It was good to see and "hear" Randy again as we all
got together at The Brook for some acoustic guitar praise and worship.
Also in attendance was Shawn McAully, worship leader at Calvary Chapel Athens, Georgia. Shawn's music can be
downloaded from the Empty Vessel web site. Empty Vessel is a very
cool site that enables atrists to get The Word via the music. EV is totally non-profit and only exist
because God has provided for them. So drop in, vist and support this worthy cause.
